In today’s review:
Holiday Quad Eyeshadow Palette Festive Glow
What I found was; Holiday Quad Eyeshadow Palette Festive Glow (bloomingdales and sax fifth avenue) while traveling last month. We shared a quick snapshot asking a lot of people what they thought about this palette. When I saw the swatches at the counter, there was a mess of glittery fallout, so I passed at first. The overwhelming response was to try again. Many people said that it blended well into the eye area and didn’t come off even when applied with a brush. You were right! This is a beautiful quad with 3 shimmering glitters and 1 soft matte.
The color is beautiful and the formula is just okay in my opinion. It’s a solid B+/A- for me in terms of texture, and the matte is on the sheer/soft side, but I think that was the intention with this piece. I think the shades can be fooled with different palettes, but they are very beautiful for a holiday eye look. I can’t say it’s a necessity, but I’m glad I bought it.
Holiday Blush de Beauté
I love the Gucci Blush de Beauté formula, especially the new shades (Peach is still available) sephora, saxophone and bloomingdales). It is matte with a satin-like shine. The pigment is soft but easy to build up. Soft Peach is a brownish nude peach that is very soft on my skin and looks very natural due to my skin tone, but I love the look and finish. The intense ruby surprised me as it looks a bit intimidating in the pot. It’s raspberry pink, but it goes well with it. The ruby shade seems to be sold out at the moment, but I think it’s close to the true plum shade. If you find one, be sure to catch it as soon as possible!

A plump gloss that moisturizes
Another first failure for me was Hydrating Plumping Gloss (sephora, gucci beauty, nordstrom, bloomingdales). I picked up the light pink Versa Pink a few months ago and wasn’t impressed with it. There was no color effect and the stinging sensation was quite strong. Not to mention, it has a very strong cherry-like scent. I once again dared many of you to try again, but with a different shade, and thanks to all of you, I was able to do it. The darker or bolder shades definitely show up on the lips and the plumping effect is the most intense I’ve seen. It dramatically volumizes the size of my lips and the tingling and scent only lasts for a few minutes and then disappears. I’m glad that my lips didn’t become numb, but the way you feel may change depending on your sensation.
Versa Pink is quite pink in the tube but has no color at all. Suzanne Brown is a soft brown shade. Mina Rosewood is a new shade from HOLIDAY and is a plum mauve (I love this color).
There were samples of the holiday collection and some red lipsticks that I thought were re-promoted, but I couldn’t get any of them.
Some beautiful launches overall. It’s quite a luxury, so if you want to save money, I recommend buying it at Sephora during the sale.
I picked mine up from bloomingdales and sephora.
