Of all the beauty categories this year, my favorite is perfume and fragrance. This year with the Discovery set and some of your recommendations, I’ve tried quite a few new brands and found some new favorites.
As the end of the year approaches, I’m going to round up my top favorites by scent category, starting with perfume.
citrus scent
celine parade
Citrus perfumes are my favorite and this is a category I always gravitate toward. celine parade It remains a favorite. I think you can wear it all year round, but the citrus notes give it a refreshing look from spring to summer.
Notes: Bergamot, Neroli, Vetiver, Musk, Oakmoss
Chanel Paris-Biarritz
of Chanel Les Eaux de Chanel This is still my favorite line in Chanel’s fragrance line. I love how fresh they feel. Paris-Biarritz They are still the thing I wear the most.

fresh & clean
Cologne Celeste – Celine
I love fresh, clean scents, but not too soapy. celine cologne celeste is a clean citrus, which is a different form of eau de parfum. Bottles in this line come in a larger, taller bottle format. cologne, Perfume body & hair oil and bath milk. I bought the body oil and cologne and I love both of them. Both have a very clean vibe, almost like a fresh body wash, but not too soapy.
Notes: Angelica, sweet lemon essence, petitgrain, neroli cord, ambrette butter, orris butter
Law Cezane
Cezane L’Eau Cezane This is a scent I blind bought last week. This scent was sprinkled all over the box of products I ordered, and I instantly fell in love with it. I thought about it for a few weeks, but I couldn’t get the smell out of my head. It has a very fresh, clean, almost green feel to it. While this doesn’t have the best staying power, I still think it’s worth checking out, and you won’t have any problems reapplying it throughout the day.
Top notes: Italian Mandarin Essence, Italian Lemon Essence, Petit Grain Bigarade Essence
Middle notes: neroli, water jasmine, peony
Base note: white musk
Soft skin scent and musk
I love the idea of a skin-like musk scent, but musk can be difficult for me. Some products are too powdery and don’t blend well into the skin, so I choose ones with a warm feel.

pururu missing person It remains at the top of my Phlur list. I think it’s hit or miss depending on your body chemistry, but I think it’s one of the best skin-like musk scents I’ve tried. Guerlain Musk Outre Blanc
Guerlain Musk Outre Blanc Eau de Parfum It’s one of the cleanest scented musks I’ve tried. It’s powdery, but not too powdery for me. The L’Art and La Matiere lines have great staying power. I love that when you order directly from Guerlain, you can customize and personalize your bottle. It is also possible to change the cap plate, ribbon color, seal, and engrave. This has been on my wish list for a few years now and I’m so excited to finally get the full size.
Notes: Orange blossom absolute, Bulgarian rose, musk, ambrette, iris parida butter.
Parfum de Marly Valaya
This year’s Parfum de Marly was pure love. my favorite is Valaya. Very strong, with bergamot, vetiver and mandarin mixed with musk. I bought both the full size and the travel size, and I like the mini because it’s more portable and travel-friendly.

Glossier You Do
Glossier added two new scents this year so I decided to pick them up Glossier You Do. I only recently got it and it’s so unique that I think it will quickly become a winter favorite. It has a pleasant creamy skin-like feel. It’s earthy and skin-like. The notes include violet, which I don’t usually like very much, but it sweetens this scent in a really beautiful way and somehow gives it a fresh vibe. fruity floral
Creed Spring Flower
As I looked at the scents I was wearing, I realized that there weren’t many fruity floral scents that I love. Creed Spring Flower is the only exception and their renewal is 10/10 pure heaven. It’s both floral and fruity, and has a very long-lasting scent. It’s bright and youthful. Also available in travel size in this beautiful form Ladies 5 piece set.

vanilla
Celine and Prue
I’m not a big fan of most vanilla perfumes. They usually don’t sit well with me in hot and humid weather as they usually look a little too strong, gourmet or bitter on my skin. There are a few exceptions that I really liked this year. I used up a few travel sizes before splurging on a full size bottle.
plu vanilla skin A sure win for me. I love it on both sides perfume and hair & body mist version. It has a pleasant sweetness without being too sweet. I love mixing in sandalwood to give it a cozy gourmet vibe.
Top: Pink pepper, pink apple, sugar crystal
Heart: Lily, jasmine petals, cashmere wood
Base: benzoin, vanilla, sandalwood, agarwood
I think Celine has a very nice vanilla scent. black tie One of the best vanillas, sweet and slightly smoky. It’s thick and rich without being too heavy. The staying power is very strong.
Notes: white orris butter, cedar, tree moss, vanilla, musk
They added a new one this year called elephant elephant. I bought the travel size to try it out and I really like it, but I think the black tie would be better. Zou Zou will be even more powdery.

unique presence
Creed Virgin Island Water
The last two mentions are about Creed. virgin island water It’s the perfect summer vacation scent with coconut and fruity vibes. A classic and 100% worth the splurge.
Notes: lime, bergamot, tropical fruits, coconut milk, coconut water, jasmine, white flowers, tonka bean, white musk.
aventus for her
aventus for her This is another unique find and feels more dressy and sophisticated. It has a refreshing, floral and fruity scent at the same time. I don’t think there is anything else quite like it. It has some woody notes, giving it a very unique twist.
Notes: Green Apple, Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Lemon, Rose, Lilac, Ylang Ylang, Black Currant, Pineapple, Peach, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Patchouli, Musk, Ambroxan.
