Every year, as summer approaches, I lighten my makeup. I don’t have heavy hands in the first place, so for me it means colored sunscreen, light liquid blush, lip gloss, and a small black mascara (waterproof as it’s probably a sweaty Betty). Not terribly adventurous, I know, but after seeing a selfie Dua Lipa Just sharing, I think I might trade that black mascara for something a little bold.
Lipa is currently on a world tour and has concluded several shows in Hamburg, Germany. To commemorate the experience, the singer posted a carousel of photos and videos on Instagram on Wednesday, May 21st. Performance moments, fun outfits, fan tattoos, and what caught my eye were some selfies she was wearing turquoise mascara.
She is waving a lively cane around in both close-ups. One of them kicks a carousel and her lashes are completely coated with a turquoise shade. Otherwise, they are worn with fresh, exposed, no-makeup makeup, but the effect is very summery. Eyelashes and naked skin feel like a pool day of makeup.
