It’s been a while since I’ve added new Diptyque products to my home collection, as I’ve been on a self-imposed candle ban to use up all the candles I currently have. new raw paper collection caught my eye, and by the time it was released, I felt like I had used up enough to justify two more splurges. i love it L’Eau Papier Eau de Toilette A fresh, clean mix of white musk, rice steam accord, mimosa, and blonde wood accord. They are papier (paper) candle and Uncle (Ink) candles join the collection, along with several other scented paper products. I’m 10/10 in love.
L’Eau Papier
of L’Eau Papier Eau de Toilette ($130 for 50 ml to $180 for 100 ml) is a unique, clean, minimalist kind of scent. A light, gentle, subtle feeling. It’s hard to imagine what paper fragrances smell like, but when you smell this scent, you’ll understand. Diptyque has added this to several other formats. I decided to try one L’Eau Papier Hair Mist ($72 for 30ml) I really like it. Despite being very soft, it has great staying power.
candle
There are two limited edition candles in this launch and I love both of them. of paper candle It smells exactly like perfume. It’s a very soft and subtle scent, but it fills the entire room within minutes. I love it. The atmosphere is refreshing and clean.
I also created a diptyque uncle candle (ink) of this collection. A mix of Indonesian patchouli and black licorice, giving it a smoky feel. This is a softer cream version. feu de bois. I’m not a fan of licorice so I didn’t know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. I think this is the perfect scent for the transition from summer to fall.
I’m really happy with what I purchased, but it didn’t quite fit the usual Diptyque vibe for me. While most Diptyque scents are more dynamic and a bit complex, this collection is more minimalist and delicate. I still love them all, but if you’re new to Diptyque and these are the first things you try, just know that it’s different than most of Diptyque’s other stuff.
i still think Bayesian It’s their best candle.
scented matches and accessories
As a fan of Diptyque, I have added several other items to my collection at home. I love glass candle holders and photophores. They are mini ribbed candle holder ($84) for the mini. So cute! When I wanted to order it, it was out of stock online, so I called the New York store and had them ship it to my house. Since then, it has been back in stock online several times. I’m not sure if it’s a permanent item, but you can set up an alert if you want to order online.
mini candle holder, small candle holder and standard candle holder.
I also tried two scented match set ($30 each). A long match in a paper box, released together with the refillable candle collection.
When I asked the New York store which one was the most popular, they told me: moss and orange blossom. It’s scented so it’s fun, but nothing special enough to justify the splurge (in my opinion). I definitely think it’s beautiful, and being able to play long matches is always a plus for me, so I decided it was worth it to just have it and give it a try. I don’t know if I will buy it again or buy another scent.
Overall love. Have you tried these yet? If not, what scents do you like in your home this time of year?
