Dior Beauty has launched the T in two different formats Nude bronzer forever (Available for $52, 8 shades). Nude bronze jumbo forever ($64, available in 4 colors) Extra large compact.
Both come in fantastic quilted stitched mirror compacts with an ultra-luxurious feel. These are soft bronzers with scented flower garden/jasmine (I can’t completely identify the exact notes, but they have a lovely floral print).
The Bronzers first launched online, and both recommend shades based on your Dior Foundation color, but I still haven’t figured out which colour to get. I ordered some to try based on their charts. The names and numbers of the regular options are not the same as the slightly confusing jumbo. The normal sizes have shades in numerical order from 01, 02 to 08, with Jumbos listed in shades 10, 20, 30, and 40.
Depending on the formula, I wear either 2.5N or 3N on my Dior foundation. I have a golden undertone of medium tan that shifts depending on the degree of tan. My winter tints pull more olives and neutrals, while summer tints get more gold. Forever Skin Perfect Foundation Stick There’s the best match for me. I’m getting a little more sun so the 3N is my best match.
If you’re thoroughly confused about which one to get, you’re not alone. Here’s what I bought and my thoughts on each shade. Breakdown of the beauty of what I wear underneath:
Dior Forever Nude Bronze (Normal Size)
Dior forever nude bronze In normal sizes, it’s my favorite due to the colour. It looks matte to my skin and can’t really convey the difference in finish, but they love having a soft, glow version and matte.
- 03Soft is definitely noticeable but subtle like my skin
- 04 Warm is my favorite of what I have tried, this is my perfect soft bronze shade, the name is really “warm” so it’s misleading.
- 04 Warm matte is a little darker and cooler than 04 warmer 04, which resembles my skin, but the matte version is darker to me
Dior forever nude bronze jumbo
Nude bronze jumbo bronzer forever It’s very beautiful. If you’re going to use lots of bronzers, I love that they have an oversized version.
- Shade 20 medium matte is warm undertones, so it’s a better option for me out of the two jumbos I’ve tried.
- Shade 30 Suntan Matte is very cool in undertones and has a good bronze colour, but cool tones look grey and grey on the skin.
Overall, solid A+ for formula and performance. I love how they look really soft and natural. I like a series of undertones and find the right shade a bit difficult. For now, 04 Warm is my favorite and for the jumbo I’m partially on 20 medium matte.
You can find the version in normal size Dior, Nordstrom, Sax, Macy’s.
Jumbo sizes are available Dior, Sephora and The beauty of Ulta.
I have another day to shop for the Sephora sale at Code Savemore! April 14th will end. I’ll post the transport tomorrow, but I don’t know if I have time to give a full review of the other bronzers I transported. I saw it in this video here.
For those who asked here, here are some simple thoughts. I tried something new Haus Labs Powder Sculpt Powder Bronzer For Terra Sol Light Medium (Third Shade), I am not yet decided. I saw multiple options in the store and the sales associates thought the one I chose would be too bright, but it was definitely dark in my skin. It has a beautiful texture with a soft shine. This product seems to sit on my skin, a bit harder to get right in terms of application. They look very beautiful in my hand, but please don’t translate it well into my face. The same can be said for the blushing of the line. I love how they view other skin tones, but to me it looks very muddy.
Many of you are really interested Westman Atelier Suntone Hidrating Matte Bronzing Drops. I chose Shade Soleil Parfait 2 at the store. As a liquid bronzer, it becomes very thin when blended, it disappears. I really like it mixes with the liquid foundation. It definitely gives you a more bronze look, but in a subtle way. I think it’s similar to Drunk Elephant D-bronzi DropHowever, the Westman Atelier option has an increased number of matte finish dyes. So my idea is, if you want a traditional bronzer, this is not the product for you (it’s just too thin). But if you’re looking for something to mix with moisturizers and foundations for a bronze shade, you’ll probably like these.
