Happy new year! I’ve been away from Miami Beach for the past few weeks on Christmas and New Year’s vacation. We packed up our two fur babies and took a road trip to the other side of Florida. After a very long and difficult year, we had a great time together again. I hope you had a great vacation and were able to take some time off to reset and spend time with your loved ones.
The new year starts with this view Chanel Spring 2025. I picked up almost every item from the spring releases during my travels, and I kept repeating the palette and new balms almost every day after purchasing them. In case you want to see it all, we’ve included a sample of the entire collection here at Reel’s store.
Jeu de Lumière
The star of the collection is an oversized highlighter palette called . Jeux de Lumieres – Multi-use eyeshadow and highlighter palette ($88). I am completely in love with all the shades and they strike me as neutral to warm shades with perfect spring tones. Last week, a number of people messaged me and asked if I was orange. as Chanel B40/BD41 I can report that none of the shades are orange, but I’ve seen a lot of other reviews and swatches where they look very warm. If you have fair skin in the B10/20 range, I think this will warm up your skin tone quite a bit.
At first glance, I thought this shade would look the same as other Chanel highlighters, but after pulling out a few, the shades seem different enough to justify this. I love peach tones as blush.
Rouge Coco Baume Shine
Chanel has added a new variation Rouge Coco Baume in shine formula ($45 each). original Rouge Coco Baume For now, as an explanation:satinOnline, the product name has “” in it. The spring one definitely has a more glossy finish and the shine and glide give it an even more hydrated and smooth feel.
The pigment is 10/10 perfect and has great buildability. Just 3 swipes gives you great coverage without being too heavy. The staying power is not very long but it lasts longer than YSL Love Shine on my lips.
I love all the shades, but Tender Peach is my favorite. Raspberry Kiss is one of the best raspberry shades I’ve ever tried. I also love the wearable red Cherry Burst.
Ombre Essentielle – Spring shades
There are 4 new works Ombre Essentielle – Versatile long-wearing eyeshadow ($40). These are a single eyeshadow in a matte shade and three multidimensional shimmers. I love all the colors.
Although I rarely wear purple tones on my eyes, Mauve Sucre It has the most beautiful shine. I love layering it over the peach coral shade Peche Glace It is a peach pink that is perfect for the entire eyelid color.
i fell in love too latte frappe. It looks very normal in the pot, but on my skin tone it’s a few shades darker, on the neutral and warm side, and is the perfect shade for eyelid contour.
The pigments are nice, the texture is smooth and the colors are easy to blend. 10/10 Victory!
Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner
Blanc Poupure on the left, swatches from top to bottom on the right: Blanc Poupure, Mauve Intense, Rouge Fauve, Vert Lagon.
There are 4 new works Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner ($35). I chose a warm matte brown color. blanc pourpré However, it seems a little dry when new. It applies better if you swipe it a few times and warm it up in your hands. I also purchased another shade from the permanent line in store. blanc agape This is a bronzed brown and I think I’ll get a lot more use out of it.
le vernis long wear nail color
Finally let’s take a look at two new things le vernis long wear nail color ($32). You all know that I am a big fan of Chanel nail polish. Both shades from the spring collection scream “spring.” poete It’s pastel peach artist It’s mint green and has an almost milky base, almost like mint chocolate chip ice cream. I’m not feeling the spring vibes in my toes and toes at the moment, as temperatures in Florida hit 40 degrees this week, making it one of the coldest days of the week. I really like both colors and can see myself wearing them come March or April. It’s fun and I think it has good coverage even with two coats.
Overall, I think this collection was a hit. The highlighter palette, Rouge Coco Baume, and eyeshadow were 100% worth the splurge for me.
The collection is currently available at: chanel.com And all the Chanel counters.
I also got some new items Rouge Allure Velvet But I haven’t tried it on my lips yet. I’ll be reviewing it soon, so please look forward to it!
