I recently purchased some lip products from Chanel and I’m thrilled with what I got my hands on. They have re-released some shades of Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue. rouge coco flash Formula (both great colors). Chanel also released new colors 31 Le Rouge It comes in both satin and matte formulas and I splurged on two of the new ones. shared Click here for demo Just in case you want to see it all in action.
31 Le Rouge
of Chanel 31 Le Rouge ($195) is still one of the best lipsticks I’ve tried. This is one of the most expensive lipsticks on the market, but it’s everything I want in a lipstick. It’s very creamy, smooth in coverage, bold in coverage (minus the shimmer) and has a classic formula, which is absolutely perfect for me. try reading mine Original review here (There are more swatches in this post!).
There are 6 new shades: 3 satin colors and 3 matte colors. I picked it up 7 Rouge Broad (Satin) 17 Rouge Confidence (Matt) And I love them both. I also noticed that there are two mats that were previously released. 13 Rouge Jersey and 14 Rouge Intimist It was in a storage box that I never got around to reviewing. I’ve added them to today’s summary.
7 Rouge Broad (Satin) is a sparkling light pink. On the thinner side, the finish is similar 1 rouge beige (my favorite). If you look closely, the glow is multicolored. I think it’s wonderful. It reminds me of some of the epic Glossimer shades that have long been discontinued (i.e. Seashell).
_________
17 Rouge Confidence (Matte) is a super light beige matte. I was worried that it would be too light for me, but it had a warm tone so I decided to give it a try. I haven’t tried the tester on my lips or face yet in the store, but I have tried it on my hands. I ended up taking an expensive risk, but I love it! Most of this pale shades are too cool-toned or pastel, but this one is perfect for me.
_________
The other two mats are dark colors and perfect for fall. Both have full coverage and a classic matte finish. Since it’s matte, it sticks a little on your lips and feels a little tuggy when you apply it, but it’s not a problem. I like that it doesn’t look or feel dry. I think 14 Rouge Intimist is a beautiful mauve-pink-brown color, not too dark and not too brown, but of all the shades, I think this one is probably the most deceiving.
_________
13 Rouge Jersey This is another beautiful neutral. It is very warm but I tend to prefer warmer nudes for darker pigmented lips.
So many people have asked if these are “worth” the price tag, and I doubt anyone can say a $195 lipstick is “worth it.” I’m still not sure if I can say that a $50+ lipstick is really worth it. However, I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and have no regrets.
Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue
of Chanel Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue ($50) is the best long-lasting liquid lipstick I’ve tried. Once it hardens, it’s almost fine. they set out again 174 Endless pink It’s a warm pink shade, so I repurchased it as soon as I saw it pop up. It’s almost a coral pink, but it still gives me a nice neutral look that I think is great for everyday use. If you’re looking for a true neutral color, 186 Pink Nude is still a great choice.
I think these liquid lipsticks have two sides, one has the color and the other has the gloss stopper and you need to apply a top coat. Otherwise, the surface of the liquid lipstick may be a little thick or sticky.
Rouge Coco Flash – Bisous
Chanel recently released rouge coco flash in vice Individually. This was exclusive to last year’s Nature Getaway Set and I think it’s one of the prettiest coral pink shades I’ve ever tried. It has a sheer feel, but if you apply it with a brush, you can apply the color firmly. The formula is smooth, moisturizing and glowy. It’s truly my go-to lip formula.
Overall, I love these new splurges. I purchased it at a local Chanel boutique. Also available online chanel.com.
