Armani has added three new shades of liquid blush. Luminous Silk Cheek Tint Liquid Blush Lineup ($40 each, sephora). So far, this formula is my favorite for long-lasting power with a natural finish. It’s one of the few that stays on the skin so well that you don’t need to apply a powder blush on top.
This formula comes in two finishes, natural and shine, but I prefer natural. Although it is matte, it does not feel sticky when applied to the skin. (Details, Reviews + Swatches here.) All new shades have a natural finish. When blended, it gives a very natural look, but you can easily build up the color without it looking too cakey or too heavy.
Below are pictures of each shade applied to the cheeks. Also worn:
12 rosy nude It is a pale beige nude. Luminous Silk Foundation 6.5 The skin tone is really the perfect color. The pigment is pretty good, but I can’t tell there’s anything on my skin since it looks very similar to my skin. I love a good neutral blush, so I wish they made this one in a slightly deeper shade.
63 Rosewood Pink It’s a neutral rose pink. If you look at the swatch you’ll see that it’s pretty close 62 Delicate Mauve. The new Rosewood Pink is warmer, which is why I prefer it.
13 Brick Brown Brown tones are a bit difficult for me, so this was a pleasant surprise. Many are either too warm or too cold. This is just right.
As for the brush, I really like it Hour Glass No15 Cheek Brush or Ambient Soft Glow Foundation Brush To apply these. New colors too active here You can see how each brush blends into your skin.
I’ll add some swatch comparisons below. Saie Dew Blush, dior forever blush soft filter (review here) and Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks At Mimi.
